Decluttering My Life!

Well I have taken the challenge! I will take control of my housecleaning and My house! 2010 will be my declutter year! First step I made up my family organizer! I am all about my iphone and love my calendar app but I am doing a pen and paper family notebook!

How to do this!
1. Take a 3 ring notebook
2. dividers
I made mine for the following
*calendar(monthly and daily)'
*Weekly Menu(grocery List
*Housecleaning
*Dividers for each of my kids(they have asthma plan and activities for school
*Expenses

First step to decluttering. Each week will go through each section

So I have three kids two are in school and I have always have papers and awards,medals and other items I want to keep! Well I never keep it organized and it is in a nice pile. I thought I would eventually put it in a scrapbook but have never got around to it!! I cam across this blog by Char! click here.

baby leg warmers!

It is freezing here in Texas! Brr! So I started thinking today my girl needs some leg warmers, Problem is the cute little leg warmers are expensive. I can not justify spending $10.00 on a pair. Well I decided to try to make my own! Over the past year I have seen it on a few blogs (I can't remember which one's, sorry) and I did it and they turned out just adorable!.

Here's how I did it!
I found a pair of knee high socks for girls size 9-2/12 on clearance at target for 1.00!
I cut the socks just above the ankle and then the toes off.
I sewed the band on the remainder of the sock!
Just like that I have the cutest leg warmers that cost me a whole dollar!

Iced in! and Chargers!

Well we were iced in this morning and I love that! Ok I know that you northern Gals are laughing at this Texas Princess but believe me it is better that we close everything down. One simple fact! We in Texas are not able to drive well on ice and snow!
I took advantage of the day and got caught up on orders! It is such a blessing to have orders for my new business. I also made the cutest little San Diego Charger dress! I can't post pics yet, because it is a surprise for a family member! Pics on that coming Saturday.
